If fast food is comfort food for any time of the day then it’s wrong for your health.

The greasy, sugary and full of fat food makes you happy with every single bite but is it really worth it? How bad can this indulgence be for you? With risks we already know and consequences we associate with, fast foods are a definitive no-no. Still not convinced?

High amounts of sodium and hydrogenated fats

What are the ingredients used to make those crispy golden French fries.?

Potatoes and seasoning. Sodium and hydrogenated fats. Most of the fast food has excessive amounts of salt making it notoriously high in sodium. Consuming these insane amounts causes a buildup in your system, which can lead to a series of medical problems. On the other hand, hydrogenated fats are basically what most of the junk food is fried in. These fats have a long shelf life and are extremely cheap to buy.

Furthermore, constantly reheating such fats causes a change in their chemical composition which leads to them becoming carcinogenic. Yes, you’re literally consuming carcinogenic food with a crazy amount of sodium whenever you decide to give in to your cravings.

Think of all the diabetes inducing, overly sugary milkshakes and ice creams and how harmful they can be for your health. Moreover, it does not contain any nutrients which makes it difficult for our body to metabolize sugar.

Milkshakes are high in calories and sugar. This can lead to a variety of problems in both adult and children alike. From diabetes to obesity or tooth decay, any person can fall prey to this.

Other health problems like constipation, bloating, acne and tooth decay stem from overdosing on fast food.
